Our client is seeking Jr - Mid level Java Programmer for an exciting contract to full time opportunity. This Java Programmer role is responsible for the development of enterprise-wide solutions for (federal government and commercial clients), implements web page requirements, design, and development, coding, testing and debugging programs according to computer engineering specifications, modifying, expanding and updating applications, and communicating with a team that includes analysts, engineers and quality assurance testers in order to coordinate and document application development and testing.Requirements for this Java Programmer include a Java development background with 2+ years of working experience, webservices development with CXF or Axis, database design ability and SQL, spring framework, Hibernate and Adobe Flex or Spring MVC or Servlets/JSP/JSF or equivalent experience, JBoss, Tomcat, or Glassfish experience, Linux and shell scripts knowledge, Maven build system knowledge, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment, and a BS degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
