Quality Assurance Inspector at Teledyne Technologies, Seabrook, NH

 

We have an opening for a Quality Control Inspector – Level 3.  This position consists of performing mechanical inspection to verify compliance to engineered drawings and predefined quality requirements utilizing micrometers, venires, height gauges, CMM, and other various inspection tools and recording inspection results in predefined formats.  This is a full time position.

Qualifications and skills necessary for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

• Four (4) to six (6) years experience in quality manufacturing processes or associate degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school.

 

• The ability to work well in a fast paced environment with stringent timeliness.

 

• The ability to read blue prints and understand symbols.

 

• Physical ability to use inspection equipment.

 

• Ability to lift over 50 pounds.

 

• Vision requirements of Jaeger 2 corrected or uncorrected, color contrast differentiation.

 

• Ability to use various inspection tools, Vernier/Dial/Digital calipers, Micrometers, Gauge Blocks, Drop Gauge, Bore Gauges, Thread Gauges, Surface Plate, Coordinated Measuring Machine, Hardness Tester, Optical Comparator and Profilometer.

 

• Knowledge of Avante database software & Microsoft outlook.

 

•  Willingness to cross train to meet company needs.
