Quality Assurance Manager at Kforce, Jersey City, NJ
Responsibilities: This vital and growing role will work within a challenging and dynamic environment using Agile / Iterative Development Methodologies to grow and maintain a Quality Assurance infrastructure to ensure testing excellence.Specific Functions:
- The position requires Progressive QA management experience as well as hands-on involvement in leading a Team of Testers; on-shore and off-shore
- The current team size is 11; however, this will be growing over the next 12 - 18 months
- Be responsible for test plans
- Defining entrance and exit criteria plus communicating release notes to QA and UAT is necessary
- Manage and lead the QA Team in functional, regression, performance, and downstream testing
- Track, manage, and communicate QA and defect status to management team
- Utilizing your experience with HP Quality Center will be a plus
- Facilitate and coordinate defect management with QA and Developers Teams by analyzing issues and determining their validity and priority
- Lead QA analysis of project requirements, test planning, and execution process including other supporting project documentation
- Identify opportunities for testing efficiency gains by use of automated test scripts
- Experience with an automation testing tool is required; QTP experience is a plus
- The ability to prepare and present QA data to senior managers within the business and ISG organizations is necessary
- Utilize your experience with Agile Development and Testing Methodology
