REQUIREMENTS ANALYST at Metro Systems Inc., Vienna, VA

MSI is seeking an experienced Requirements Analyst for a position with a financial organization in the Tysons Corner area.

 

All candidates must be able to pass a background and credit check.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

 

• Collaborate with customers and internal groups to identify and prioritize business needs.
• Elicit requirements using appropriate analysis tools such as interviews, document analysis, storyboards, use cases, UML, business process descriptions, scenarios, wireframes etc.
• Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring the requirement statements are complete
• Manage requirements traceability matrix and track requirements status throughout the project.
• Generate and maintain requirements specifications according to standard templates using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously and concisely
• Prioritize requirements to meet stakeholder needs and enhance the design and implementation processes.
• Manage changes to requirements through an effective change control process.
• Control scope creep attributable to missed requirements and leakage of requirements into the project.
• Review and/or assist in development designs to verify requirements have been met.
• Review test plans and test cases to verify requirements will be tested appropriately.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

• Must have solid communication and collaboration skills-partner with developers and testers. Specific experience with use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, process flows, state diagrams, context diagrams, RTM's, and system requirements.
• Experience with banking and/or financial experience desired.
• Also need experinecd with Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation)
