Senior ETL QA Analyst at Yoh, Phoenix, AZ

Yoh has a (6) month contract opportunity for Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for conducting test planning and execution for manual, automated and performance testing. The position is part of a team responsible for testing of all solutions within the Data warehouse Business Intelligence group.
  • Design test strategies and test plans for projects. Work with project teams to obtain approval
  • Provide a lead role in the QA team and work with different stakeholders to successfully deliver the projects
  • Perform test process for enterprise data warehouse and reporting solutions. This includes manual, automated, performance testing and data validation
  • Develop detailed test cases and work with business analysts to understand solution requirements
  • Create automated functional and performance test scripts
  • Execute all functional and performance tests according to test plans and cases, document results, and quickly identify and assist in troubleshooting issues
  • Work closely with project teams to provide testing timelines for test planning and execution
  • Provide input to improve test team policies, procedures and offerings


Job Qualifications:
  • 7+ years experience in QA process involving manual and automated Quality Assurance testing.
  • 1-3 years of Business Intelligence tools such as Informatica, Microstrategy or TOAD.
  • 3+ years of expert working knowledge on QTP
  • 2+ years of experience in Performance testing tools like Jmeter or Load Runner or VSTS
  • Performance testing tool
  • Experience in testing data warehouse and reporting solutions.
  • Expertise in analyzing and validating data from multiple sources to target
  • Deep understanding and experience in standard testing methodologies
  • Hand on experience in writing SQL queries and VBscripts
