Review/Monitor all critical path application systems to ensure there are no negative impacts to Interchange qualifications, front end authorizations, merchant billing processing and data repositories. Addresses all daily merchant and business related issues. Responsible for validation, approval or rejection of test results to system changes or enhancements whether interchange related, format related, product compliance or Card Brand required. Identify root cause and assist with the resolution of issues which result in interchange loss to either FDMS or our merchants, as well as adverse impacts to merchant billing, authorization related, data integrity items and Card brand related items. Review all business project requirements. Prepare UAT test scripts and deliverables documents for business units for associated projects. Review test data for accuracy of requirements and compliance. Provide sign-off of testing requirements. Conduct/attend conference calls pertaining to all projects and release changes, implementation and post implementation support. Provide issues logs and updates regarding release changes and projects where applicable. Involvement with the maintainence and insertion of TCG rules and support of all internal department automated processes.Minimum 3-5 years card brand/network industry experience, including 1-2 years compliance experience in a large organization. Solid analytical, problem solving and negotiating skills. Proven problem solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection. Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans.
Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction and altering priorities. Ability to handle multiple initiatives and assignments. Knowledge of product/software development processes.
Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to present succinctly in a variety of internal and external communication settings and styles.
Comprehensive knowledge of FDC product offerings and a broad network of contacts.
Demonstrable PC skills, including flowcharting, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software (MS Office), Service Desk, and TSO/Mainframe. Subject matter expertise in multiple settlement, compliance, and dispute processes and/or systems. Consistent accuracy and detailed problem solving practices are essential in this role.
Extensive knowledge of card brand processing regulations as well as interchange programs, card brand compliance and a knowledgeable understanding of association file formats and specifications.
High level of business knowledge of more than one processing platform's settlement, compliance, dispute processes and/or systems (including inputs, core processes, outputs, and issue resolution process)
High level technical knowledge from a business perspective of IT programs and processes on one or more processing platforms across one or more topic areas.
Experience as testing manager and or Quality assurance tester a plus. Testing simulator experience for creation of baseline and modified test cases also considered a plus.
